Our Pastor
Pastor Lee Isaac Austin, Jr., a native of Chicago, IL, is a faithful, well-beloved member of Body of Christ M.B. Church (BOC). He has been actively involved in various ministries since the church was organized in 1990. Isaac accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. His spiritual foundation was developed and nurtured at Metropolitan M.B. Church, Greater Love M.B. Church and lastly BOC under the leadership of the late Pastor Ricky T. Guyton.
Isaac publicly acknowledged his call to the Ministry and was licensed to preach in 2004 and was later ordained as a Minister of the Gospel in 2008. Isaac is an expository preacher whose attention to detail is seen through his teaching of Biblical principles found in God's word.
On June 26, 2022, Body of Christ M.B. Church affirmed God’s decision to call Rev L. Isaac Austin, Jr to become its 2nd Pastor. Isaac is a committed servant leader who leads by example and believes in modeling the expected Christian behavior daily in order to build consistent habits of righteousness and holiness for use in building the Kingdom of God.
